Greetings!

I'm a national freelance writer and editor for hire. From New England to California, Alaska to Florida, and Washington D.C. to Hawaii, I've lived in every corner of the United States. Exploring this country and beyond inspires me to share stories that connect us, build community, promote sustainability and illuminate our everyday world.

I'm an experienced storyteller, weaving details into words to share in print and online. I began writing and editing while serving in the U.S. Coast Guard, publishing stories alongside my duties of ship driving in the Bering Sea, preparing for hurricanes in New Orleans and traveling throughout the Caribbean as a liaison to other nations' ocean protectors. I completed an MA in Journalism, then began freelancing.

I've enjoyed the diversity of my clients. From government to non-profits, schools to businesses, I partner with a wide range of organizations. I have worked on books and pamphlets, websites and magazines.
